We’re looking for 2 English-speaking moderators to join our remote moderation team.
The role will involve assessing and monitoring user-generated comments on online platforms, creating shift handovers, and working with the moderation team as well as our Management team.
A passion for current affairs, breaking news stories, and an interest in sport is key to this role and you should demonstrate this clearly in your application.
Due to the nature of the role and the subject matter involved, you will often be exposed to difficult content including hate speech, toxic opinions, and other offensive content, so robust emotional resilience is required to carry out the work.
All applicants need to be based in and have the legal right to work, and to speak English at a native level. We are unable to consider applications that do not meet these criteria.
The role will require you to work as part of a rota system. The hours for these projects are laid out below in 2 patterns. While there are unsociable hours included in some of the shift patterns, all applicants must be prepared to work evenings and weekends as the scope and requirements of the project change over time. You will also be required to provide cover for sickness absence and/or annual leave on occasion – including some shifts that fall into unsociable hours between midnight and 8 am.
The shift patterns for these roles are as follows
